Dugganite Driveway Paint


Product Description

Dugganite Driveway is a water-borne acrylic coating designed for the decoration and refurbishment of tarmac and concrete paths and driveways. It produces a tough, water- and oil-resistant finish that enhances the appearance of coated surfaces. Note: Not recommended for extremely smooth, dense surfaces such as imprinted concrete.

Technical Data

  • Specific Gravity: Approx. 1.3
  • Solids Content: Approx. 55% w/w (Approx. 40% v/v)
  • Flash Point: Non-flammable
  • Recommended Spreading Rate: 2–3 m² per litre
  • Drying Time: Approx. 2–4 hours at 20°C / 65% RH
  • Overcoating Time: Approx. 6–8 hours at 20°C / 65% RH. Allow minimum 24 hours before parking cars on coated surfaces
  • Recommended Dry Film Thickness: Approx. 160 microns
  • Minimum Application Temperature: 5°C and rising
  • Do not apply during damp or frosty weather, or when rain is imminent

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be clean, sound, and dry. Prepare in accordance with BS6150 – Painting of Buildings: Code of Practice. Treat organic growth with a fungicidal solution and apply a proprietary weed killer to any plant growth.


Thinning & Cleaning

  • If required, thin with clean water (maximum ratio: 1 part water to 10 parts Dugganite Driveway).
  • Clean equipment immediately after use with water and detergent.


Storage

  • Minimum 12 months shelf life in original sealed containers
  • Protect from frost and direct heat

  • VOC limit for this product (Cat A/i): 140 g/l (2010)
  • Actual VOC content: Maximum 10 g/l
  • Refer to safety data sheet before use


Disposal

  • Liquid or part-used containers: Non-hazardous waste code 08 01 12
